Tri-Mo Shawarma- The best shawarma in QC- Novaliches Quezon City
Before Turks Shawarma, Khaleb, Shawarma Shack, and other popular Sharwarma wraps established their names in the food industry, Tri-Mo Sharwarma in Lagro has been in the throne of the best names long before shawarma went mainstream. I first had its taste in 2012, from then I lost count how many times I dined in here, one thing is for sure, this is one of the most popular shawarma houses in QC and never had I visited their store without a long customer queue.
Shawrma is an evidently Filipino favorite, that's why many entrepreneurs are venturing into putting up their versions of this pinoy's favorite merienda. Tri-Mo Shawarma is an underrated local diner in Lagro, Quezon City. They serve the best shawarma in QC or I must say the best shawarma I have ever tasted (no exaggeration, folks). Their shawarma crams with beefy goodness, something I won't dare you partner with any of their rice meals, coz sure you won't finish it. Let me give you a tip, if you're coming here to try the shawarma, I'd suggest you eat and finish the shawarma first, it's a pretty heavy meal alone so you gotta savor it, then if you are still able to jam a rice meal, you go for it. This is a MUST TRY!
Tri-Mo is not only limited to shawarma wraps, they also serve other local pinoy dishes like Sisig, Dinuguan, Bulalo, Papaitan, barbecue and isaw (chicken and pork intestines) and these dishes are equally good, too. I enjoyed the barbacue and the isaw since I was really craving for it. You're lucky if you live near the area, if you're from North Caloocan or Novaliches it's just stone's throw away from this place not to mention that we battled the ocean of traffic in C5, EDSA, Commonwealth going to Tri-Mo (since we're from Taguig). We don't often go here but it's worth the long drive.
