Dawg's Cafe- Lilac Street, Marikina

Yesterday, my first ever "dine-in" experience after an eternity food delivery orders and home cooked meal memoirs,  I finally had my dinner in one of the bistros here in Marikina. I felt a fusion of thrill and sadness, I was thrilled to finally have my meal in a restaurant setting which was never a big deal to me except the fact that my last happened nearly five months ago (before the ECQ), I mean never had I thought of it really, like the normal happened nearly 5 months ago?

We were delighted with all the food they served, it's not like you only appreciate it just because you're hungry, I just really liked it. I'm also a big milkshake lover, regardless of the flavor I think whatever's served on the table I'll surely enjoy it. They are also quick in serving the food, that's a plus point.

Dawg's is an American diner, as the posted photos below they serve Philly burger and wraps, do not expect a Kare Kare served in a traditional palayok or maybe Kabsa meals of you're craving for persian food.

And on its flip side I was sad, though I had a great time here, I was sad to see this long row of opened restaurants in Lilac Street trying to make ends meet. I noticed the significant fluctuate of these businesses that even grab food nor food panda can even compensate, a sink-or-swim situation. In fact, we stayed there for almost an hour and no one entered the door, even food delivery service and that's heart breaking. The food was good, actually.

The least I could do was to give the nicest compliment to their food (an honest compliment of course), maybe this way I can give them a slight push to continue and keep their passion rolling.
