Black Sugar Milk Tea- WEST MCKINLEY HILL TAGUIG
Another write up for you milk tea lovers! Recently, I wrote a review for Ho Cha Milk tea in Quezon City, how about another milk tea feature? This time in Taguig. Honestly, it was intricately difficult to write this kind of blog article since I lost count of the reviews I made in the same category (I thought). Well, I thought I needed much effort this time since milk tea has no distinction to each other’s taste, it’s gonna be the same sweet leafy flavor just different in brands and cafes. I was wrong. Now, I think it’s one of the misconceptions we fail to realize, I can confidently say that each milk tea shop will always be unique from one another. Just like the thousands of Pansitan, Tapsilogan, Kapihan and everything that ends in AN (laughs). It may be the same concept but with it growing popularity only the best of the best rises to the top. (am writing this while sipping a Black Sugar Milk tea, coz when I’m in a good mood I write instantaneously).
Black Sugar is a taiwanese styled milk tea that serves the corporate center of West Mckinley Hill, Taguig. It was a perfect timing indeed, I reside in Taguig City so it didn’t cause me much effort to visit Black Sugar. Soon as I entered their shop I was greatly surprised by its quirky instagrammable interiors, I love the inviting color that synchronizes our delight in drinking milktea, the concept was very pleasing to the eye of its guests. Let me also share that it was my first time to dine in a milk tea shop with cutting edge restroom facility like what they have in Japan, I was fascinated and didn’t expect they have it. But of course it’s not just the design nor the facility advancement that make a great restaurant, inorder to hinge the success their food must be impressive too.
THE FOOD
Again, it’s not just the design that makes a great restaurant. Black Sugar didn’t fail me on this factor, I enjoyed all the milk tea they served. We ordered seven milktea flavors enough to pledge my honest opinion of their products and I had nothing bad to say for their milk tea, we all loved it. I couldn’t pick my favorite as they were all equally good, though of course I didn’t order all the seven for myself, I had few sips and tried the drinks of my friends (we all do that, yeah? Lol). I ordered Dirty Strawberry Macchiato for myself, so I’d say it’s my favorite but I guarantee the other flavors are exceptionally good too, trust me. On the other hand, the rice meals were not available the time I paid a visit, too bad. I would like to try it the next time I visit Black Sugar.
